The conclusion is simple: a society built on a foundation of flawed ideals can not last and though empowerment is the kickstarter of progress, it also creates division as people generalize their opinions and develop competition between rivals. Not all hope is lost, though. Like a needle in a haystack, society has a small chance of finding the ideal solution. It is the people who create the problems and it is the people who will find a way to persevere and move past them. The future relies on the actions of the current generation, but for any progress to be made, people must first teach youth how to identify and solve problems even if it requires personal sacrifice. Perfection and personal gain is a poisonous perspective which has the effect of nullifying success. For all of the changes to society throughout its history, the most important is one which people have only begun to consider. People must learn to accept imperfection, because continuing on this current path will devastate more than just one country. The change will not be instant and some will not agree. This is why society must target youth culture for a solution. A new generation is an extension of the past and a bridge to the future. They are a chance to make the changes that society wishes to see because they are the fresh start. The opinions and values of youth are the same ideals that will mold the identity of society, but unless lessons can be extracted from the past and the mistakes that have been made, society has no other option but to repeat them in a perpetual cycle of creation and destruction by its own hand.
